The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a] 2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

Jesus loves you

Welcome

Welcome, and thank you for visiting Dr Nordine Ministry online. We hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available. Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor.

Aim

To allow God to exchange a crown of beauty for our ashes so that we may experience true peace and have the ability to love without fear of hurt. God wants us to experience wholeness, soundness, harmony, security prosperity and wellbeing and to allow the Lord to heal our broken hearts and bind up our wounds.

VISION

Is to reach out to those who are carrying much more on the inside  than is revealed  on the outside, for those  who tend to hurt in silence because it is difficult to share our most painful experience with others,  Those that carry hurts from the past, hurts from our relationships, hurts from others (including our children) and life’s disappointments. Those that smile on the outside but are miserable on the inside. Those that are so weighed down that it begins to show up in the way they response to the enemy attacks.

Our Mission

He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a] 2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

This Week's Sermon

This week our minister talked about the overloading of information. In a time when anything and everything is just a click away how do we take a step back and focus on the principles of our faith?

While exploring the question of “What would Jesus do?” in today’s media crazed world, the minister also reflects on the changing state of family and community over the past few decades.
